Spiritual Life

Spiritual Life

EIA being a Christian school with a mission and vision that is solely inspired by God and prayer, we take the spiritual life of our students very seriously as it is the bedrock on which our other foundations are built.

We are very intentional to recruit staff members that are not only Christians, but whose lives, actions and values are Christlike.

We have school devotions every morning and evening in which both staff members and the students participate through praise, worship and sharing of the word.

We run a spiritual program (Character Counts program) that focuses on spiritual traits and themes that we feel are important for our students to learn.

This program has Annual themes that are in turn divided into Monthly themes and then further divided into Weekly themes which we look at throughout the week:

 in the general school devotions

 in students’ individual class devotions

 in our Sunday services

This ensures that the topics are thoroughly explored before picking up a new topic the following week.

In our Sunday services here at school, we sometimes have Guest preachers and Ministers come to share with our students. Our students also go out to minister at different schools and churches.

We believe in Spiritual Mentorship of both the students and staff members and therefore carry out Community outreaches, Home visits, Seminars and other Ministerial ventures both inside and outside our communities.
