Outreach and Evangelism
At Empower International Academy, we believe that Evangelism and Outreach is an act of worship, which need not be justified by direct preaching, but also through acts of service which often lead to conversations about our hope in Jesus Christ.
As students and staff we engage with the community in: serving, encouraging, giving and showing mercy (Romans 12).
We believe that this helps create a harmonious environment through servant leadership on campus that extends to families and the communities we reach out to.
Students learn the impact of their actions on others and their power to make a positive difference in others’ lives. They, in turn, learn from the people they connect with, their histories, their life experience and their wisdom.
This connection with our local community allows us to showcase who we are and to model Jesus in our interactions with the local families. Over time the links between the school and the community strengthen and relationships deepen.
